Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation Grants 20 Local Nonprofits More Than $330,000 in Funding

November 16, 2023

Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation is proud to announce a donation of $330,000 to 20 local nonprofits.

The donations form a vital component of the Foundation's annual grant making program, which formally awards grants on a biannual basis. Since 2000, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation has made grants to hundreds of nonprofits that support programs within the bank’s marketplace. The donations have helped fund food security initiatives, veterans’ services, and a plethora of programs that support vulnerable families and individuals. To date, the Foundation has provided more than $15 million in grants to nonprofits providing critical community services.

The 20 grant recipients represent a broad range of nonprofit organizations throughout the bank’s community:

“Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest would like to thank the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation for joining us in doing ‘whatever it takes’ for our community’s youth. The Foundation’s investment in the Hudson Clubhouse will be catalyst in providing more youth with opportunities to build their great futures by engaging in high-quality educational programming during the after-school hours,” said Chris Duane, president & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. “All youth deserve the opportunity to succeed in life and because of supporters like the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation, the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest remains a safe place for youth to discover the endless opportunities that are within their reach.”

“Domestic Violence Services Network, Inc. (DVSN) is deeply grateful to the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation for helping us help families living with domestic abuse.”  Executive Director, Jacquelin Apsler, states that, “this generous grant helps support crisis intervention for those in need, a wide variety of resources, training for volunteer advocates, police partners, and community professionals, court assistance, client support groups, and a confidential helpline for anyone in our Metrowest partner communities and surrounding areas.”
