Meet Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation's 2025 Grant Recipients

November 21, 2025

Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation Awards Over $658,000 to Local Nonprofits

Every community has a heartbeat — made up of the people, organizations, and quiet acts of kindness that keep it thriving. For our charitable foundation, that heartbeat is what inspires us to provide meaningful support year after year.

Each year, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation continues a long-standing tradition of helping to support community organizations with funding through our grantmaking program. This year, we’re proud to award $658,775 in grants to 51 local nonprofit organizations working to strengthen Central Massachusetts. Each of these organizations plays a vital role in addressing the needs that matter most — from food access and affordable housing to education, veterans’ services, and support for children and families facing hardship.

But these grants represent more than financial support. They’re a celebration of shared purpose — a reminder that progress happens when compassion meets community. Together, these organizations are creating ripple effects of impact that reach far beyond their programs, shaping stronger, more resilient neighborhoods for all.

Since its establishment, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation has invested more than $17 million into local nonprofits — a legacy built on the belief that when our neighbors succeed, our entire community flourishes.

Each grant recipient has a story to tell: a food pantry expanding to meet growing demand, a school providing opportunities for every student to shine, a veterans’ group ensuring no hero feels forgotten. Their stories are the true measure of what it means to give — and why this work matters.
