At Middlesex Savings Bank, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Jennifer Ubaldino as our new Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Executive Director of the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation.
Jennifer joins us at an important moment for our communities. As local families face increasing challenges, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation recently awarded $190,000 in food security grants, supporting 38 local food pantries and one regional food-insecurity program. This investment reflects our continued commitment to helping neighbors access essential resources when they need them most.
With more than 25 years of experience leading high-impact community initiatives, Jennifer brings deep expertise and a lifelong dedication to philanthropy. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Concord Carlisle Foundation, where she guided the organization through pivotal moments—including the COVID-19 pandemic—and helped support the state’s largest family homeless shelter. Prior to that, Jennifer spent 12 years with the Community Foundation for MetroWest, developing philanthropy education programs for youth and nonprofit professionals and strengthening the region’s nonprofit ecosystem.
In her new role, Jennifer will oversee the Bank’s corporate giving and the Charitable Foundation’s grantmaking strategy, building on a legacy of community investment. Since 2000, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation has provided more than $17 million in grants to nonprofits across the region, addressing critical needs and supporting long-term community well-being.

This year’s food security grants come at a time when demand at food pantries and hunger-relief organizations is rising. The Foundation’s investment helps ensure these organizations can continue their vital work on the front lines of food insecurity.
