Middlesex Savings Bank is honored to have recently received the Community Leadership Award from the Foundation for MetroWest (FFMW) at the 9th annual Community Leadership Reception. This award recognizes the Bank’s continued commitment to supporting local nonprofits across the MetroWest.
The relationship between Middlesex Savings Bank and FFMW dates back more than 15 years, during which the Bank has granted over $1.2 million to FFMW to support area nonprofits and provide resources to those in need.
Most recently, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation made a significant matching pledge to support the FFMW's Workforce Development Project. It also invested in Impact MetroWest, an initiative of the FFMW to bring awareness to and drive action around the strengths and challenges facing MetroWest communities. The Bank has also been a long-time supporter of the FFMW's Center for Philanthropy Education, emphasizing the importance of furthering sustainable programs and resources for the community to thrive.
