Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation is proud to announce a donation of $272,461 to 16 local nonprofits.
The donations are part of the Foundation’s annual grant making program, which formally awards grants twice a year. Since 2000, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation has made grants to hundreds of nonprofits that support programs within the bank’s marketplace. The donations have helped fund food security initiatives, veterans’ services, and a plethora of programs that support at-risk families and individuals. To date, the Foundation has provided more than $15 million in grants to nonprofits providing critical community services.
The 16 grant recipients represent a broad range of nonprofit organizations throughout Massachusetts:
“JFS of Metrowest is truly grateful for the support of the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation in our efforts to increase food security for the most vulnerable members of Metrowest communities,” said Lino Covarrubias, CEO of Jewish Family Service of Metrowest. “Because of this generous grant, hundreds of children and their families will be spared the debilitating pain of hunger and the demoralizing angst of the uncertainty of a next meal. Through partnership, significant impact can be achieved.”
