Ralph Letner Joins Middlesex as Director of Commercial Banking

May 28, 2025
The bank welcomes Ralph Letner as our new Director of Commercial Banking. With nearly four decades of experience in the banking industry—32 of those years dedicated to commercial banking—Letner brings a proven track record of leadership, strategic insight, and customer-focused service.

Letner joins us following a distinguished career with several respected financial institutions. At North Easton Savings Bank, he led a team of seasoned commercial lenders, and at Cambridge Trust Company, he played a key role in building strong banking relationships with small to mid-sized businesses. He also held executive leadership positions at Wellesley Bank, including executive vice President, chief banking officer, and chief lending officer, overseeing both commercial and residential lending operations.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Letner is deeply committed to community service. He currently serves as chairman of the Natick Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund, where he has been actively involved for over 23 years. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Hope & Comfort, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential hygiene products to children and young adults in need across Greater Boston.
Ralph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Babson College. His extensive experience in banking, strong leadership in commercial lending, and dedication to community service make him an exceptional addition to our commercial banking team.

In his new role, Letner will lead the expansion of our commercial banking services, strengthen business relationships, and deliver tailored financial solutions to meet the evolving needs of our local business community.
