Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation announced its donation of $345,300 to local nonprofits through its Grant Program.
Last year, Middlesex assisted nonprofits with a specialized COVID-19 relief fund, on top of its annual grant awards. Now, Middlesex continues to provide meaningful support through its traditional grantmaking program by focusing on three core areas – educational opportunities, basic human needs, and nonprofit capacity building. Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has provided more than $13 million in grants to nonprofits providing critical community services.
The 19 grant recipients represent a broad range of nonprofit organizations throughout Massachusetts:
"Middlesex Savings Bank’s generous support will help Family Promise keep more Metrowest families in their homes by providing the necessary programming to stabilize their incomes, connect with local resources, keep their children enrolled in school and daycare, provide a stable happy home for their families, and maintain a healthy sustainable future," said Susan Crossley, executive director of Family Promise Metrowest.
