Giving Back

Supporting the community is our mission. And our privilege.

Neighbors helping neighbors. That’s the way it should be.

As a mutual bank, our focus is to support the community and give back in ways that help everyone live better. We’re proud of this role and take it to heart – financially supporting local nonprofits, community-based organizations, and even high school students who need help to attend college. But that’s not enough, so you’ll also find us hard at work in our neighborhoods volunteering for causes we care about.

We lend financial support in three ways: community sponsorships, corporate donations, and major grants through the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation. Which type of support is right for you? Explore these options to find out:

Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation

Middlesex Savings Bank is always right there to help support community organizations with funding. But some nonprofits working toward the common good deserve even more support. That’s why the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation was created. This separate entity has its own endowment and is able to fund worthy 501(c)(3) organizations that raise the standard of living for all of us.

  • Social Services Program
  • Educational Support Program
  • Capacity Building Program

Community Sponsorships

Community sponsorships are how Middlesex Savings Bank supports local activities and events that need additional funding to be brought to life. If you can provide ad space, a logo on your materials, display a banner at your event or some other type of advertising or recognition of the help you receive from the bank, you may be able to receive funding.

  • Arts & education
  • Town events such as parades, summer music series, etc.
  • Local sporting events

Corporate Giving

If your 501(c)(3) could use a little extra funding to support the good you do, Middlesex Savings Bank’s Corporate Giving program may be right for you. These gifts are awarded based on a simple application process and can be awarded in just a few weeks.
  • Youth & education
  • Basic human services
  • Economic empowerment
