Founded in a town steeped in our nation’s history, Middlesex Savings Bank’s origins are intertwined with the very fabric of the community that it serves. Middlesex Savings Bank was founded as Middlesex Institution for Savings in 1835 in the Town of Concord, a historical location of the American Revolution.

As a testament to the enduring power of community and the timeless principles on which it was founded, Middlesex is proud to donate $50,000 in two installments of $25,000 each to the CON250Corp, a 501c3 corporation on behalf of the Concord250 Executive Committee. The committee has been formed to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the historic battles of Concord and Lexington in 2025 and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.

"When Middlesex Savings Bank was founded as Middlesex Institution for Savings in 1835 in the Town of Concord, we solidified our commitment to the history and well-being of the community. Middlesex Savings Bank takes great pride in supporting Concord250’s commemoration of the past and celebrating these defining events that shaped our history."
