The Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation announced its latest round of giving with its spring grant awards, distributing a cumulative $358,450 to 24 local nonprofits.
Since 2000, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation has been committed to fostering positive change within the community. To date, the Foundation has provided over $15 million in grants to nonprofits delivering essential services. This latest round of donations is part of the Foundation’s biannual grant-making initiative, aimed at addressing critical needs such as food security, veterans' services, and support for vulnerable families and individuals.
The 24 grant recipients represent a diverse array of nonprofits, each integral to the Middlesex Savings Bank community:
"Mass Insight is grateful to be continuing our relationship with Middlesex Savings Bank in pursuit of greater educational equity for students in the communities we jointly serve." said Andrea Wolfe, President & CEO of Mass Insight. "The goals of Mass Insight's AP STEM & English Program are to expand and diversify student participation and achievement in AP STEM & English courses, assisting with student recruitment, resources, and professional development, and delivering tailored support and consultative services to tackle persistent barriers present at every level of an AP program. Thanks to this contribution from Middlesex, we will be able to continue to address the racial and economic inequities present in advanced academics and contribute to the positive trends we see in our student outcomes."
