That depends. While you may get your direct deposits two days early, it isn’t guaranteed every time. The timing depends on when we receive the payment information from the sender. As a result, your deposit may arrive two days early, one day early, or on your regularly scheduled payment date.
Some common reasons a deposit may not arrive early include:
  • The sender submitted the payment information later than usual.
  • The deposit is not eligible for Early Pay.
  • There was a delay with the sender’s payroll or payment processing system.
Middlesex will make deposits available as soon as possible after we receive and process the payment information.

No. Early Pay is not tied to a specific day. Eligible deposits will be posted as soon as they are received and processed, up to two business days before the scheduled payment date.
No. Deposits are posted throughout the day as they are received and processed.

Early Pay timing can vary depending on when the sender submits payment information. If information is received later than usual, funds may become available on the standard payment date instead of early.
No. Because Early Pay is not guaranteed, we do not recommend changing payment dates based on the expectation that funds will always arrive early. Scheduling payments before funds are available could result in returned items and fees.
