Middlesex Supports Food Pantries and Food Rescue During Holidays

Date: 12/21/16

‚Äč

The holiday season is a time for gathering with family and friends and celebrating. To aid the celebrations for families of need, Middlesex Savings Bank delivered gifts of financial support to 30 food pantries located in MetroWest communities. Middlesex Savings Bank also provided additional support to Lovin' Spoonfuls, a nonprofit dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded to the community organizations and resources where the food can have the greatest impact.

Executive Vice President and Chief Community Banking Officer, Dana Neshe, commented, "This holiday season is a particularly special time to support the organizations that work so hard to improve the lives of our neighbors. We hope the support helps families in their holiday celebrations this season."
