The Community Development Program funds projects and programs whose primary goal is to improve the lives of low-and moderate-income families and individuals throughout the Foundation's communities. Grant requests of up to $15,000 will be considered.
Selection Criteria Foundation Directors will review each grant proposal for evidence of the following:
- Confirmation that the Organization is reasonably financially stable, with no overwhelming threats to continued viability
- Evidence of experienced leadership, at both the staff and board levels
- Explanation of how the program or project will improve the quality of life for the target population
- Detailed demographic description of the target population to be served, including statistics pertaining to income and geography
- Clear detailing of how results will be measured and communicated, and how success will be defined
Applying for an Capacity Building Program Grant The Foundation Directors meet semi-annually to review proposals for the Educational Opportunities Program. The proposal deadline and review schedule is as follows:
