Middlesex Savings Bank partners with area artist Ilse Plume to create a custom bag.

An important part of the work Middlesex Savings Bank does in the community is to support local arts organizations.  This year the bank sought out a local artist to design a bag that could be provided to customers as a thank you for doing business. The Bank turned to Ilse Plume, an internationally renowned illustrator and author of children’s books.  A resident of Concord, Plume is an artist in residence at Emerson Umbrella.  Middlesex Savings Bank asked Plume to create featuring her whimsical fish and frogs.  According to Plume, her idea for the frogs came from a favorite stuffed frog that seemed to have an amusing personality.  The bags are available free to any new or existing Middlesex Savings Bank customer who opens a checking account or refers someone else to open a checking account.
