Whether your child has birthday money or is embracing their entrepreneurial spirit by running a lemonade stand, our Fun Club account can help them learn banking basics while building their savings. It’s more than just a place to keep money – it allows children the chance to start saving while learning how deposits, withdrawals, and interest work. And unlike a piggy bank, our savings account allows them to earn interest.

Our account for kids grows with them. As they become teenagers and get their first jobs, banking with Middlesex allows them to have an account for saving and spending money, complete with a debit card and ATM access.

Opening an account is simple! All you will need is:

Subject to approval. Fun Club is open to children age 12 and under. Once a child turns 13 years of age, the account will automatically be transitioned into a regular passbook savings or statement account. No purchase necessary. Automatic entry for Fun Club members every time a deposit is made into the Fun Club account. One entry can be made per month by mailing a postcard with child name and parent/guardian’s phone number to Middlesex Savings Bank, Fun Club, P.O. Box 5210, Westborough, MA 01581-5210. Entrants must be age 12 and under at time of entry. Submission constitutes permission from the entrant’s parent/legal guardian to enter this sweepstakes and that parent/guardian’s acceptance of these terms. Five winners drawn by the 10th of every month, randomly selected from Fun Club deposits and postcard entries received during the previous month. Winners are subject to verification of eligibility if the entry is chosen to win a prize. Parents/guardians of winners will be notified by phone, mail or email, after which the winner may select the prize from those available at the time of selection. Prizes subject to substitution without notice, and subject to all applicable local, state and federal taxes. Prizes to be mailed to the address associated with the Fun Club account, or may be picked up at a Middlesex Savings Bank branch designated by the winner and/or parent/guardian of the winner.
