SOAR 55

SOAR 55 Nonprofit Management Consulting Group program offers pro-bono consulting services to area nonprofits

The national award-winning* SOAR 55 Nonprofit Management Consulting Group program is currently accepting applications from nonprofits organizations that serve the communities of Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Newton, Wayland, Wellesley and Weston. Qualified volunteers undergo a rigorous training after which they are placed in teams to help local nonprofits with pro-bono short-term projects (lasting 4 to 9 months) such as strategic plans, business plans, needs assessments, and marketing and outreach plans. Nonprofit organizations must complete a Request for Services form. Once an application is accepted, a team is assigned and is under the direction of a professional nonprofit management consultant and coach for the duration of the project. SOAR 55 has been able to help many metro west organizations such as the Foundation for Metro West, Voices Against Violence, Sages & Seekers, and Web of Benefit. To find out more about our program, please visit our website at www.ncscweb.org/soar55/agencies or contact Sharon Levinson, Program Manager, at 617-969-5906 x356 or slevinson@ncscweb.org.
