Small Business Development Centers
The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Massachusetts Department of Business and Technology.
The SBDC provides free management counseling and low-cost seminars and courses to small Massachusetts businesses to help achieve their goals. Counselors will assist clients in developing their business plans, marketing plans, financials, cash flows, and other areas critical to ensure a successful venture.
The Massachusetts SBDCs are located at Clark University and Boston College.

SBANE: The Smaller Business Association of New England is a nonprofit organization established in 1938 to promote and protect small businesses. Its 1000 member companies in six states range from sole-proprietorship service businesses and growing high technology firms to 200-employee manufacturing plants.
