Middlesex Savings Bank Opens Worcester Branch

January 17, 2024
Middlesex Savings Bank is proud to announce the opening of our newest branch in Worcester.

Located at 286 Grove Street, the 4,200 SF branch features a full-service lobby, ATM, drive-up lanes, safe deposit boxes, and loan production office. The branch is managed by Andrew Sherry, vice president and branch manager, who has been employed by Middlesex Savings Bank since 2005. His experienced and multi-lingual team of bankers is available to meet with customers Monday through Saturday.

“On behalf of the entire team at Middlesex Savings Bank, we are honored to open our first branch in the vibrant city of Worcester,” said CEO Michael McAuliffe. “As a mutual bank, we operate without shareholders so that we can do business in a way that puts our customers and communities first. This formula has served us well for 188 years. As we open our doors to you – we thank you, Worcester, for welcoming us so warmly.”

While this may be the bank’s first location in Worcester, Middlesex has already established meaningful connections with customers, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the community. Over the years, Middlesex has supported local organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & MetroWest, Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester, Laundry Love, Worcester Historical Museum, YMCA of Central Massachusetts, and many others.

Also, as a special initiative tied to the grand opening celebration, Middlesex is offering new customers the unique opportunity to direct donations from the bank to one of three local non-profits: The EcoTarium, Friendly House, and Veterans, Inc.

For support with your banking needs, stop by the branch or schedule an appointment with a banker.
